Our Process

We ensure our biochar carbon credits meet international quality standards through a precise and sustainable process. Using carefully selected biomass, we produce biochar through controlled pyrolysis (low-oxygen heating). Each batch is rigorously tested for carbon content, stability, and purity, guaranteeing high-quality carbon sequestration. Our commitment to excellence supports both reliable carbon credits and a more sustainable future

The Problem

Climate change is destroying mama Africa.

From drought to erratic weather and food insecurity, the impact is amplifying existing challenges, threatening lives and livelihoods.

Mighty Rice

Rice is the most consumed food worldwide!

So there is no shortage of dry waste from its farming.

In Tanzania, we produce about 3 million metric tons of rice annually!

Locking this carbon carbon presents a significant step towards achieving net-zero emissions.

Biochar

We use rice husks to create Biochar: a carbon lock and hunger fighter.

It enhances soil fertility and bolstering crop growth hence offering a sustainable path to fight food insecurity.

Helping the most vulnerable

This project give out Biochar amender to small local farmers for free and teach them how to produce their own.

Why Biochar?

1

Excellent Carbon Lock

Biochar is a powerful carbon sink, locking carbon in the soil for hundreds to thousands of years, reducing atmospheric carbon dioxide levels, and mitigating climate change.

2

Improves soil Fertility

biochar increases soil pH in acidic soils, enhances aeration, and supports beneficial microorganisms, leading to healthier plant growth and higher crop yields.

3

Waste Utilisation

Biochar improves water retention due to its highly porous structure, which allows it to absorb and hold moisture like a sponge. This helps soil retain water for longer periods, reducing evaporation and making moisture more available to plant roots.

Our Quality Guarantee

Our biochar carbon offsets are backed by an unwavering commitment to quality and reliability. We meticulously produce biochar that meets the most rigorous industry standards, ensuring scientifically measurable and independently verifiable carbon sequestration. By choosing our offsets, you are investing in a cleaner environment, supporting tangible climate action, and contributing to a more sustainable and resilient future for our planet.
