Mighty Rice
Rice is the most consumed food worldwide!
So there is no shortage of dry waste from its farming.
In Tanzania, we produce about 3 million metric tons of rice annually!
Locking this carbon carbon presents a significant step towards achieving net-zero emissions.
Biochar
We use rice husks to create Biochar: a carbon lock and hunger fighter.
It enhances soil fertility and bolstering crop growth hence offering a sustainable path to fight food insecurity.
